Free 'Harvest Concert' Presents Allensworth in Library Park on October 4 at 5:30 p.m.

  • Date: 10/04/2018 5:30 PM - 9:59 PM

A free concert showcasing Allensworth, a soulful Southern California quintet, will be presented on Thursday, October 4 at 5:30 p.m. in the Library Park outside the Community Room. The ‘Harvest Concert’ is presented by the South Pasadena Public Library, South Pasadena Arts Council (SPARC), Supervisor Kathryn Barger, LA County Arts Commission, and the Friends of the South Pasadena Public Library with extra special thanks to 210eastsound and the South Pasadena Chamber of Commerce. The ‘Harvest Concert’ will take the place of the “End of Summer Concert” that has been presented by the community partners each year for almost a decade.

Allensworth blends a wide variety of diverse cultures and influences into their music.  Lead singer-songwriter Jamie Allensworth’s vocals seamlessly weave laidback coastal sounds with tasteful melodies and gritty harmonies. The band’s classic soul tunes, dynamic rockers, and timeless ballads have made them an Orange County favorite and they continue to deliver engaging live performances and tasteful recordings for all who’ve had the pleasure to experience them. For more information about Allensworth, please refer to For more information about the Library, please call 626 403-7350 or check

Audience members are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for sitting on the lawn. The Library Community Room is located at 1115 El Centro Street, only about a block from the Thursday night South Pasadena Farmers Market and the Metro Gold Line Station. Free parking is available at the Mission-Meridian Parking Garage, located at 805 Meridian Avenue after noon adjacent to the Metro Gold Line Station, only one block from the Library.
