County Extends Safer-At-Home Order Lower-Risk Locations to Reopen
The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health has extended the Safer at Home order with the gradual reopening of low-risk businesses, select recreational facilities and beaches.
All retailers that are not located in an indoor mall/shopping center are permitted to open for curbside pickup, door-side pickup, outside pickup or delivery only. Members of the public are not permitted to go inside. Manufacturing and logistic businesses that supply retailers may also reopen.
All businesses that are permitted to open under the revised health order must practice physical distancing and adhere to infection control guidelines. This includes frequent hand washing, wearing a face covering and eliminating the touching of eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands whenever possible.
Please note that specific higher-risk businesses remain closed. Public and private gatherings of any number of people occurring outside a single household or living unit must also remain prohibited.
As we gradually continue on the road to recovery, it's important to note that the best protection against COVID-19 is to remain at home whenever possible and to limit non-essential trips.
