The City of South Pasadena's Renewable Energy Council was established in 2015 to serve in an advisory capacity to the Natural Resources and Environmental Commission. The goal of this Council is to investigate the potential environmental and economic benefits of using renewable energy, such as solar, at City facilities. The Council meets on as as-needed basis, once or twice a month for approximately a year.
