The Senior Citizen Commission is a five member body that is advisory to the City Council on all matters pertaining to senior citizens. The Commission duties include the advancement of senior citizen planning and programming and to formulate policies for senior center services. Qualifications for serving on the commission consist of being a resident elector (registered voter) of the city. Members are appointed to a three-year term, with a maximum length of service of two full consecutive terms, plus one partial term (if applicable).

Meeting are held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 8:30 a.m.
