The South Pasadena Senior Center is a community focal point that opened in 1982, a “one stop shopping center” for services and activities. The Center’s mission is to offer a place in which older adults and persons with disabilities can meet with one another to fulfill their social, physical, emotional and intellectual needs. Center programs and activities are designed to enhance and support senior citizen independence and encourage involvement in and with the community. Click HERE for Dial-A-Ride transportation services.
The Center is centrally located, adjacent to the public library and close to Mission Street, Gold line station and local bus lines. The Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

The Center publishes a newsletter 6 times per year and is mailed to members, available at the web site and can also be emailed. Publication includes upcoming activities, lectures, classes and calendar of events.
Senior Center Daily Meal Program and Menu:
The Center offers hot meals Monday through Friday, serving lunch at 11:45 pm to adults age 55 and over for $2.75 per meal. Menu copies available at the Center.

Senior Citizens Foundation of South Pasadena, Inc: The Foundation was formed in 2006 to serve as a fundraising mechanism for the South Pasadena Senior Center. Each year they reach out to members of the center and the community to solicit donations that benefit the wants, wishes and needs of the Center. The Foundation has a 501©3 status and donations are tax deductible.
Senior Citizen Commission meets the second Wednesday of the month at 8:30 am at the South Pasadena Senior Citizen Center. Click here for agendas.
