Financial aid--grants, scholarships, and loans--can be a challenge to find. Here are a few resource profiles to help you start your search. Please note that the South Pasadena Public Library is not affiliated with these websites. As with all online resources, we recommend checking each resource for its Privacy Policy.
  • The College Board: A non-profit organization best known for it's SAT, PSAT, and AP test resources from online classes to practice tests, the College Board also has an extensive scholarship search tool and include more than 2,200 financial aid programs, totaling nearly $6 billion, as well as other financial aid and internship information.
  • Scholarships.com: Boasting "Over 3.7 Million College Scholarships & Grants - About $19 Billion in Financial Aid", this is one of the largest scholarship databases, updated daily. Browsing in the Scholarship Directory is simple and can be done by categories like Ethnicity, Left-Handedness, and GPA. Using a free personal account and profile produces the most tailored results.
  • Cappex: Working with over 4,000 institutions, Cappex is primarily a college matching site, but also has a detailed scholarship matching tool with over $11 billion in available scholarships. With a free, detailed profile, users are matched with a list of colleges and scholarships.
  • FastWeb: A product of Monster.com, FastWeb has a database of more than 1.5 million scholarships at $3.4 billion worth of aid. Users may create a profile to find financial aid based off of strengths, interests, and skills.
  • FAFSA Free Application for Federal Student Aid: More than 400,000 U.S. scholarships, fellowships, internships, grants and loans.
