Sergeant Matt Ronnie
Matthew Ronnie started his career with the Police Department in 1990. Since that time he has served as a Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer, Motor Officer, Explorer Adviser, School Resource Officer, Detective, and was promoted to Corporal in 2005 assigned to patrol as a supervisor.
Currently, Sergeant Ronnie is a patrol Sergeant assigned to the Field Operations Division. Sergeant Ronnie is in charge of the department’s Bicycle Enforcement Team, a member part of the Special Enforcement Team as a Crisis Negotiator, a Public Information Officer, and manages the department’s vehicle fleet.
Sergeant Ronnie has been married for 22 years and has two elementary school aged boys. Sergeant Ronnie enjoys traveling, running, boating, and coaching track.
