Donate Your Old or Unused Cell phones.

South Pasadena Police Department participates in "Secure the Call" program.  Secure the Call is a non-profit charity organization that provides free emergency 9-1-1 cell phones to seniors and victims of domestic violence.

Cell phones are collected and distributed nationwide.  Before cell phones are distributed to needy people, the cell phones are cleaned, wiped clear of software and old numbers then reprogrammed and tested.

Cell phones that are not capable of being repaired are then recycled.

If you would like to help recycle your old cell phone, just bring them to the police department and drop them off at the front counter.

All donations are tax deductible.  Tax receipts can be downloaded from the Secure the Call website (
