Administration

The Administration front office provides administrative support for the South Pasadena Fire Department. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for any questions please call the front office at (626) 403-7300.

Department Administrative Management is overseen by Chief Gregory Lloyd. Chief Lloyd serves as the liaison between department administrative personnel, City Staff, the Public Safety Commission and management in surrounding agencies.

Fire Reports

Fire Reports can be obtained through the South Pasadena Fire Department front office, an administrative fee or processing fee may be applied to all Fire Reports. To further inquire about obtaining copies of Fire Reports, contact the Fire Department front office, Monday through Thursday between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at (626) 403-7300.

 

EMS Reports

EMS reports are subject to the same release restrictions as medical records. Federal law prohibits release of medical records to unauthorized persons. The patient, parent of a patient, or spouse of a patient may request medical records release. In addition, records release may be subpoenaed. When requesting a medical document the person must present a driver’s license and/or birth certificate. Attorneys using the subpoena process must provide a signed authorization to release records from the patient. For medical records and billing disputes contact Wittman Enterprises at (800) 906-6552. Paramedic Subscription Program

Medicare establishes what is permissible related to billing for ambulance treatment and/or transport. As such, South Pasadena Fire will bill based on those guidelines whenever there is treatment and/or transport rendered. However, participation on the Paramedic Subscription Program will waive any fees above and beyond those allowed by an individual’s insurance provider. The yearly fee of $95.00 for a household, or $106.00 for businesses of less than 10 persons, residing or working in the City, provides participation in the program.
