Subject: Suspect Arrested for Attempted Murder

South Pasadena, CA – On April 27, 2025, at approximately 1:39 p.m., officers responded to the 1300 Block of Huntington Drive for a report of a female screaming for help. On arrival, officers located a female with visible physical injuries. A male believed to be connected with the female was also located and detained at the scene.

Through their investigation, officers discovered that the male had threatened the female victim’s life and attacked her. Fortunately, she was able to defend herself and retreat to call 911. Based on the investigation, thirty-four-year-old Isaiah Gonzalez of South Pasadena was arrested for attempted murder and violation of a restraining order. He was taken to Pasadena City Jail for booking.
