South Pasadena, Calif. – On May 14, 2026, at approximately 7:54 a.m., the South Pasadena Police Department Communications Center received a report of an injury vehicle-versus-pedestrian traffic collision involving an adult in the area of Monterey Road and Diamond Avenue, within a designated crosswalk.
Officers from the South Pasadena Police Department, along with personnel from the South Pasadena Fire Department, responded to the scene and contacted the parties involved. The pedestrian reported pain to their right side. Following an on-scene assessment, the pedestrian was transported for further medical evaluation. Fire personnel cleared the incident, and officers completed a report for documentation purposes. The accident will be reviewed by the South Pasadena Police Department Traffic Division.
