Subject: Wanted Felony Vehicle Seized; Suspects in Fraud and Vehicle Theft Investigation Identified
South Pasadena, CA – On August 24, 2025, at 3:36 a.m., South Pasadena’s Flock license plate recognition system alerted officers a wanted felony vehicle was being driven in the city. Responding officers quickly located and stopped the vehicle in the 1800 block of Via Del Rey. The vehicle was occupied by a male adult driver and a female adult passenger.
The vehicle and both occupants were identified and confirmed by the Los Angeles Police Department as suspects in an active fraud and vehicle theft investigation case. At the request of the LAPD, the vehicle and its contents were seized as evidence and the occupants were released pending further investigation. The names of the suspects are not being released at this time.
