South Pasadena, Calif. – The City of South Pasadena is thrilled to invite community members of all ages to the annual Boo Bash, a spirited Halloween celebration formerly known as Spooktacular! Join us on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Orange Grove Park, located at 815 Mission Street, South Pasadena.
This family-friendly event promises an evening packed with festive fun and eerie excitement. Attendees can look forward to:
- Delicious Eats from local food trucks
- Classic carnival games and exciting inflatables
- A live DJ spinning spooky (and danceable) tunes
- Costume contests with prizes for all ages
Costume Contest Schedule
Show off your most creative, creepy, or cute costume! Judging will take place at the main stage during the following times:
- 6:00 p.m. – Ages 2 years and under
- 6:15 p.m. – Ages 3-5 years
- 6:30 p.m. – Ages 6-8 years
- 6:45 p.m. – Ages 9-12 years
- 7:00 p.m. – Ages 13-17 years
- 7:15 p.m. – Family & Group Costumes
- 7:30 p.m. – Pets
Winners will be announced shortly after each age group competes. Costumes will be judged based on creativity, effort, and overall Halloween spirit!
Whether you're coming in full costume or just ready for some frightfully good fun, Boo Bash is the perfect way to celebrate Halloween with friends, family, and neighbors.
