Subject: South Pasadena Invites the Community to the Annual Boo Bash at Orange Grove Park

South Pasadena, Calif. – The City of South Pasadena Community Services Department invites residents and visitors of all ages to celebrate Halloween at the City’s annual Boo Bash on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Orange Grove Park, located at 815 Mission Street, South Pasadena.

This family-friendly community celebration will offer an evening of festive entertainment, games, costumes, and Halloween fun for all ages. Attendees can enjoy:

  • Food and refreshments from local food trucks
  • Classical carnival games and exciting inflatables
  • A live DJ featuring festive and spooky tunes
  • Costume contest with prizes for all ages

Guests are encouraged to come dressed in their most creative, creepy, or cute costumes. Costume judging will take place at the main stage according to the following schedule:

  • 6:00 p.m. - Ages 2 years and under
  • 6:15 p.m. - Ages 3-5 years
  • 6:30 p.m. - Ages 6-8 years
  • 6:45 p.m. - Ages 9-12 years
  • 7:00 p.m. – Ages 13-17 years
  • 7:15 p.m. – Family and Group Costumes
  • 7:30 p.m. - Pets

Winners will be announced shortly after each age category is judged. Costumes will be evaluated based on creativity, effort, and overall Halloween spirit.

Whether arriving in costume or simply looking to enjoy an evening of seasonal festivities, the City invites everyone to join the celebration and bring their Halloween spirit.
