Subject: South Pasadena Police Lead Collaborative Traffic Enforcement Operation
South Pasadena, Calif. – On Tuesday, September 30, 2025, the South Pasadena Police Department collaborated with the Azusa, Baldwin Park, Burbank, Irwindale, and San Gabriel police departments to provide citywide, high-visibility traffic enforcement. The operation took place in South Pasadena from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The officers contacted 112 drivers during the operation for various traffic violations, resulting in 99 citations being issued.
"While we’ve made continued efforts to educate the public on traffic safety, there’s still work to be done in encouraging safer driving habits,” said Lieutenant Shannon Robledo. “These enforcement efforts are important because even one dangerous decision behind the wheel can have serious consequences. Our goal is to encourage safer habits that help protect everyone on the road.”
The South Pasadena Police Department will be conducting another collaborative traffic enforcement operation on October 28, 2025.
