On Tuesday, November 19, 2024, the South Pasadena Police Department partnered with the San Gabriel, Alhambra, Azusa, Whittier, and Baldwin Park Police Departments to provide citywide, high-visibility traffic enforcement. The operation took place from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The officers contacted 105 drivers during the operation for various moving traffic violations.

“Despite ongoing efforts to educate drivers about traffic safety, some individuals continue to endanger others with unsafe driving. Our goal is to address and change these behaviors to make our roads and community safer,” Police Chief Brian Solinsky said.”

The South Pasadena Police Department will be conducting another collaborative traffic enforcement operation in April 2025.
