Subject: City of South Pasadena Announces Thanksgiving Holiday Closures and Overnight Parking Exemptions

South Pasadena, Calif. – South Pasadena residents are reminded that City Hall and most City services will have limited or modified hours during the week of Thanksgiving, between November 24-28, 2025. Specific closures and exemptions are noted below:

South Pasadena City Hall, 1414 Mission St.:

  • Nov. 24 - 26: Open from 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • Nov. 27 - 28: Closed

South Pasadena Public Library, 1100 Oxley St.:

  • Nov. 24 - 25: Open from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • Nov 25: Open from 10:00 a.mm. – 8:00 p.m.
  • Nov. 26: Open from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Nov. 27 - 28: Closed

Senior Center, 1102 Oxley St.:

  • Nov. 24 - 26: Open from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Nov. 27 - 28: Closed

Recreation Office, 815 Mission St.:

  • Nov. 24 - 25: Open from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • Nov. 26: Open from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Nov. 27 - 28: Closed

Police and Fire Services will remain fully operational. The Public Works Department will have limited staff on standby for emergencies.

Facilities will resume their normal operating hours after Friday, November 28.

The City will also exempt overnight parking from Nov. 24, 2025, at 2:00 a.m. through Nov. 30, 2025, at 6:00 a.m. Winter holiday closures and overnight parking exemptions will be announced in December.
