Subject: City of South Pasadena Announces Winter Holiday Closures and Overnight Parking Exemptions

 

South Pasadena, Calif. – South Pasadena residents are reminded that City Hall and most City services will have limited or modified hours between December 22, 2025, and January 4, 2026. Specific closures and exemptions are noted below:

South Pasadena City Hall, 1414 Mission St.:

  • Dec. 22-24: Open from 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • Dec. 25-Jan 4: Closed

South Pasadena Public Library, 1100 Oxley St.:

  • Dec. 22: Open from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • Dec. 23: Open from 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
  • Dec. 24: Open from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Dec. 25-26: Closed
  • Dec. 27: Open from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • Dec. 28: Open from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Dec. 29-Jan. 1: Closed
  • Jan. 2-3: Open from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • Jan. 4: Open from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Senior Center, 1102 Oxley St.:

  • Dec. 22-24: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Dec. 25-Jan. 4: Closed

Recreation Office, 815 Mission St.:

  • Dec. 22–23: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • Dec. 24: 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Dec. 25-Jan. 4: Closed

The Public Library will resume normal operating hours on Friday, Jan. 2, while City Hall, Senior Center, and Recreation Office will reopen to the public on Monday, January 5.

Police and Fire Services will remain fully operational. The Public Works Department will have limited staff on standby for emergencies.

The City will also exempt overnight parking from Dec. 22, 2025, at 2:00 a.m. through Jan. 4, 2026, at 6:00 a.m.
