Subject: Community Invited to Provide Input on Huntington Drive and Fremont Avenue Corridor Improvements Project
South Pasadena, Calif. – The City of South Pasadena is looking for feedback for the Huntington Drive and Fremont Avenue Corridor Improvements Project.
The Fremont Avenue corridor spans from Columbia Street to Alhambra Road. The Huntington Drive corridor limits are from Alhambra Road to Garfield Avenue.
Funded by Metro, the project aims to close active transportation gaps by introducing bicycle facilities, improving sidewalks, and upgrading traffic signals to enhance safety, accessibility, and multimodal connectivity.
Two initial meetings are being held to educate residents about the project, present multiple design concepts, and receive public input on proposed improvements to these roadways.
Residents are invited to attend either option as follows:
Community Meeting Option #1
- Monday, February 23, 2026
- 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
- Library Community Room, 1115 El Centro St.
Community Meeting Option #2
- Thursday, March 5, 2026
- 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
- Library Community Room, 1115 El Centro St.
Each meeting will start with an overview of the project and design concepts presented by staff, followed by an open-house format where residents can ask questions and provide input on the concepts being considered.
A second series of community meetings will be held later this spring, giving the public an opportunity to review the refined design concepts.
