Subject: Residential Burglary Investigation

On August 10, 2026, at approximately 10:15 a.m., the South Pasadena Police Department Communications Center received a 9-1-1 call from a resident in the 200 block of Los Laureles Street. The caller reported hearing a residential burglary alarm at a neighboring residence and observing three individuals running down the street. Officers responded to the area but were unable to locate the suspects.

The suspects were described as dressed in dark clothing and reflective colored safety vests. They fled from the scene in a white SUV, possibly a Kia. At this time, the vehicle’s license plate is unknown.

Officers checked the residence and found that there was forced entry and that the home had been ransacked. The extent of property loss is still under investigation.
