City of South Pasadena Announces Comprehensive Site Plan

The City of South Pasadena is pleased to announce the initiation of its comprehensive site plan project, South Pas Forward, designed to strategically shape the future of Library Park and our Library and Senior Center facilities, and enhance their role as vital resources for the community. The City is seeking input from residents as we move “South Pas Forward” to develop a center to serve multiple purposes. This comprehensive plan will address current and future needs while optimizing the facilities’ infrastructure, accessibility, and environmental sustainability.

Project Overview and Needs Assessment

The Library Park Campus Comprehensive Site Plan seeks to identify and address current and future key needs in our community. Over the next several months, the City will gather input from residents and stakeholders, including park, library and senior center patrons, and community members. This feedback will be central to the development of a vision that reflects the needs of our community.

The City invites all stakeholders to participate in shaping the future of the Library Park Campus through a series of upcoming engagement opportunities:

Community Workshops

Learn more about this project and participate in discussions and activities with other community members to help reimagine the Library Park Campus.

  • Date: Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.; and
  • Date: Thursday, April 10, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Open House Hours

Drop into one of our open houses to learn more about the proposed plan, ask questions, and share your thoughts with the planning team.

Looking Ahead

The development of the comprehensive site plan is a collaborative effort, and we are committed to ensuring that the voices of all stakeholders are heard. The final plan will reflect the community’s input and outline a clear vision for the future development of our Library Park Campus.
