Subject: City of South Pasadena Announces New Online Building, Planning, and Public Works Permitting System

South Pasadena, Calif. – The City of South Pasadena Community Development and Public Works Departments are proud to announce the introduction of a new and improved online building, planning, and public works permitting system for residents and contractors. The website is now live for permit submittal.

The new system allows users to seamlessly apply for all permits offered under the Community Development and Public Works umbrella, including building, temporary use permits, tree trimming, planning entitlements, and more.

“Our new permitting system allows our residents and their contractors to easily submit permits to the City and is a vast improvement over our prior process”, said Community Development Director Erika Ramirez. “We are excited to offer the public an easy and straightforward way to interact with our staff and help to improve not just our own, but everyone’s workflow.”

To apply for a permit, please visit the portal at https://southpasadenaca.portal.opengov.com/

City staff are available during regular business hours to help in-person or over the phone to residents and contractors needing assistance applying for permits through the system. For assistance, visit South Pasadena City Hall, located at 1414 Mission Street, or contact the front desk at (626) 403-7200.
