South Pasadena, CA – The City of South Pasadena is excited to announce the release of the 2025 Summer Recreation Guide, now available to the public. The guide includes a full lineup of recreation classes and specialty camps designed to keep the community active, engaged, and entertained all summer long.

Programs will run from June through August and are open to all age groups, with activities held at parks and community facilities across South Pasadena. Registration is now open at southpasadenaca.gov/classes

This year, the City is pleased to welcome Skyhawks North LA to its roster of program partners. Skyhawks will offer youth sports camps including soccer, basketball, and flag football, bringing their high-energy, skill-building approach to South Pasadena for the first time.

“We’re excited to bring back a strong lineup of summer activities and to introduce new partners like Skyhawks,” said Lucy Hakobian, Community Services Director, City of South Pasadena. “These programs are a great way for residents to stay active, build community, and have fun all summer long.”

In addition to traditional recreation classes, this summer’s specialty camps will include:

  • Horseback Riding

  • Skateboarding

  • Fitness and Conditioning

  • Creative Arts

  • Multi-Sport Camps

Programs are designed to suit a variety of interests and skill levels, making it easy for families and individuals to find the right fit for their summer schedule.

All class and camp details, including dates, times, and fees, are available in the 2025 Summer Recreation Guide. Early registration is recommended, as space is limited in many programs.
