Subject: Police Detain Suspect Wanted for Felony Theft
South Pasadena, CA – On Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 1:20 p.m., the South Pasadena Police Department received an alert from the Department's Automated License Plate Reader system regarding a wanted 2012 Nissan Altima involved in a felony theft in the city of South Pasadena. The suspect in the theft had prior firearms-related convictions.
Officers responded to the area, and initiated an enforcement stop on the 2012 Nissan Altima at Oak Street and Ramona Avenue. The driver, 32-year-old Alejandro Vallejo, of Los Angeles, was positively identified as the suspect in the theft. Vallejo was arrested without incident and transported to the Pasadena City Jail for booking.
