South Pasadena Public Library to Host Craft Supply Swap

Do you have craft supplies you no longer need? Are you looking to try a new project but need inspiration? Join the South Pasadena Public Library for a Craft Supply Swap, where local crafters and DIY enthusiasts can exchange craft supplies.

Residents are welcome to drop off one bag or box of new or gently used craft supplies with Library staff between Monday, April 14 and Friday, April 18 during regular Library operating hours. Examples of acceptable materials include yarn and fabric, knitting needles, crochet hooks, popsicle sticks, pompoms, pipe cleaners, coloring books, scrapbooking supplies, stamps, ink, markers, ribbons, tape, jewelry supplies, canvases, and beads.

The Craft Supply Swap will take place during the annual Repair Cafe on Saturday, April 19, from noon to 3:00 p.m. in the Library Community Room, located at 1115 El Centro Street, South Pasadena, CA 91030. Any remaining supplies will be donated or used for library programming.

The South Pasadena Public Library is located at 1100 Oxley Street in South Pasadena. Visit the Library website at www.southpasadenaca.gov/library for information about services and programs. The Library is open Monday, Friday, Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Upon request made no later than four business days before the event, the City will provide a reasonable accommodation for a qualified person with a disability to have equal access to the event.
