South Pasadena, CA – The City of South Pasadena is proud to announce the parade line-up for its much-anticipated Festival of Balloons, taking place on Friday, July 4, 2025. This year’s theme, “Unity in Community: One Nation, One Neighborhood,” celebrates the civic pride and neighborly spirit that define South Pasadena’s 4th of July tradition.
The Festival of Balloons Parade steps off at 11:00 a.m. from Diamond Avenue, traveling along Mission Street to Garfield Park, and features an exciting mix of community favorites and new entries.

Additional 4th of July Festival of Balloons Highlights
Festivities begin bright and early with the Kiwanis Club Pancake Breakfast at 7:00 a.m. at the South Pasadena Fire Station located at 817 Mound Avenue, South Pasadena offering a warm welcome and delicious start to the day.
The Opening Ceremony will take place at 10:30 a.m. on the steps of the South Pasadena Public Library Community Room located at 1115 El Centro Street, South Pasadena. Immediately afterward, the much-anticipated Festival of Balloons Parade will begin at 11:00 a.m., traveling along Mission Street from Diamond Avenue to Garfield Park.
At Garfield Park, the celebration continues until 2:30 p.m. with family-friendly games, a live DJ, and a selection of food vendors, creating a festive atmosphere for all ages.
Join us at the South Pasadena High School Stadium, located at 1401 Fremont Avenue, South Pasadena for the grand finale firework show. Gates open at 7:00 p.m. followed by a live concert featuring Faultline from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The firework show will begin at 9:00 p.m. Online presale tickets are available until 6:00 p.m. on July 4, 2025 for $15.00 per person at www.southpasadenaca.gov/events. Tickets sold at the door are $20.00 per person. Children 2 years and under are free. Please bring your receipt and tickets for stadium entry.
