The Finance Department provides various services to residents, businesses, and other departments in the City. The Assistant City Manager/Chief Financial Officer (CFO) coordinates the activities of the Department's various program areas, and serve as the primary contact point for the City Council, other City departments, and the general public. The Assistant City Manager/CFO has the responsibility of preparing the City's Annual Budget and budgetary monitoring throughout the year.

Fiscal Services
Responsible for the accounting and financial reporting functions for all City funds, including the Successor Agency, Enterprise Funds and Special Districts. Fiscal Services functions include purchasing, accounts payable, payroll, financial reporting, fixed asset recording and inventory, bank reconciliations, assessment district collections, year-end audit coordination, and preparation of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report.
Treasury Services
Coordination and management of the City's investment program and debt administration. The Finance Department also prepares the monthly investment reports and annual update to the Investment Policy.
Utility Billing and Customer Services
Assisting with water/sewer bill payments and miscellaneous accounts receivables.
