File a Police Report Online

Please note: If this is an emergency, please call 911. 

Using this online citizen police report system allows you to submit a report immediately and print a copy of the police report for free. Please verify the following to find out if online citizen police report filing is right for you:

  1. This is not an emergency,
  2. This incident occurred within the South Pasadena City limits,
  3. There are no known suspects,
  4. This did not occur on a State Freeway.

 

If you answered "yes" to all of the above questions, you are ready to file your report online.Online reports are for documentation purposes only and in most cases, you will not be contacted by the Police Department. All online reports will be reviewed, but most will not result in additional follow up.  DO NOT REPORT THE INCIDENT ONLINE IF THE SUSPECT IS KNOWN, OR IF YOU HAVE EVIDENCE TO PROVIDE.  Instead, contact the police department at 626-403-7297 for a police response to investigate.

What if this happened in another city can I file a report using this online police citizen reporting system?

No, If a crime took place outside of the City of South Pasadena Police Department please call the police department for that city.

 

What if this happened on a state Freeway?

If this took place on a state Freeway please call the Highway Patrol Office nearest you.

 

What is a known suspect?

A known suspect is when you or someone else knows the person or where to find the person who committed the crime or the license plate number of the vehicle the suspect(s) were in.

 

Upon completion of this report process you will:

  1. See the words: "Your online police report has been submitted" showing that your police report is complete,
  2. Be given a police report case number,
  3. Be able to print a copy of the police report to keep for your records.

  • Hit-and-run traffic collisions and identity theft reports MUST be reported in person.
