Public Works Permits

The Public Works Department issues permits for activities, construction, and events on public property. An approved permit is required before starting any work, encroachment, or street closures within the public right-of-way.

How to Apply:

Public Works permits are available online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through the City's OpenGov permitting system. Click on the permit portal below to begin an application. 

For questions or assistance, please contact the Public Works help desk at (626) 403-7240, option 2. Staff are available Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
