EFFECTIVE MARCH 16 - The City is suspending service disconnections for nonpayment and waiving late fees due to the coronavirus.
- Water is safe to drink and there is plenty of water available
- Service requests can be submitted by phone at (626) 403-7370 or email at PWServiceRequest@southpasadenaca.gov.
- Water Staff continue to provide standby services after hours and on weekends.
The Water Division is responsible for the production, treatment and distribution of potable water to the residents and businesses of the City.
2020 Water & Sewer Rate Notification
On Nov. 1, 2017, the City Council adopted new water and sewer service charges starting on Jan. 1, 2018, to pay for the operation and maintenance of the City's water and sewer systems. The water and sewer charges are scheduled to increase each year in January through December 31, 2022.

Water Bill Updates
South Pasadena water customers are being served by a new billing company, Munibilling, after the sudden closure of Fathom (formerly Global Water). The City Council approved the new contract Wednesday, November 20, 2019.
Water Billing FAQ’s
Who do I call with questions about my bill?
MuniBilling will handle customer care, they can be reached by phone at (877) 583-7933. You can also pay your bill online, visit the new Customer Portal.
Is my account number the same as Fathom?
No, you will be assigned a new account number with MuniBilling, that is significantly more efficient.
How do I access my online account?
Visit the Customer Portal.
You will use your new account number as well as an access code that will appear on your bill. If you have not yet received your bill, but would like to get this information, contact Munibilling at (877) 583-7933
Will my Autopay Automatically Transfer to the new Company?
No, You will have to re-enter your information onto Munibilling’s platform using the online Customer Portal.
What if I already paid my bill?
If you already paid your bill through Fathom your next bill should indicate you’ve paid. If your payment was sent, via post mail to the Fathom/Global Water PO Box, payment status may be delayed. If for any reason the balance does not show paid on your next bill, please hang on to your proof of payment.
Where should I pay my bill?
Payments can be made by calling the automated payment line at (877) 556-7929, Online or by mailing a check. The mailing address has been changed to ensure all payments are processed in a timely manner. If you have any questions about this change please call (626) 403-7250.
