WHAT IS TAB?
The South Pasadena Public Library Teen Advisory Board is a small group of high school students dedicated to improving the library in the following ways:

Suggesting ideas for the teen zone
Practice creative brainstorming, problem solving, team building skills
Recommending books, movies, and music for the Library to purchase
Learn about how libraries build collections
Creating, planning, and implementing events specifically for teens
Get experience with event planning and coordination
Helping to create and maintain the Library’s social media for teens
    Learn about marketing and promotion

The skills learned in TAB are transferable and desirable for many careers. TAB members will also earn community service hours, gain hands-on experience and the opportunity to work with professionals and build relationships.
