What is TAB?
The South Pasadena Public Library Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is a small group of high school students dedicated to helping out and improving the library. Some of the ways we help out are by:
-Assisting library staff with light projects as needed (for example craft preparation for story time).
-Suggesting ideas for the teen zone improvement and books or movies that they would want to see in the library.
-Giving book reviews on what teens are currently reading.
-Help put on events geared towards the teen patrons of the library.
-Represent Teens during community library programs and be a voice for Teens within the library.
- Help staff with programming assistance as needed.
In order to be part of the Teen Advisory Board, members must:
1. Be in the 9th-12th grades
2. Have a South Pasadena Public Library card
3. Attend all meetings and events to earn community service hours
Want to be a member of TAB?
We meet once a month on Wednesdays from 4:30 – 6:00 pm in the Ray Bradbury Conference Room unless we have a special event we are putting on. 9th through 12th Graders interested in being part of TAB should submit applications to email@example.com or turn them in at the Reference Desk or Children's Room Desk.
