Transit (Dial-A-Ride)

Dial-A-Ride is recognized as an essential service to the South Pasadena senior community. The service is available for seniors and residents with disabilities.

  • Excursions: Dial A Ride offers two monthly excursions per month to various locations.
  • Leisure Trips: Offered on a monthly basis to various locations. Space is limited and trips may be canceled due to low participation.View Monthly Leisure Trips.(PDF, 1MB)
  • Dial A Ride is only offering trips to all currently opened facilities (as per LA County Guidelines). Please ensure your destination is open prior to scheduling services.

Advanced reservations are required to attend. To book an appointment you may call (626) 403-7368, Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

About Our Service

A transportation service for South Pasadena residents who are over 55 years of age, and/or residents with a disability. Registration is required and all rides are by appointment only.

Transportation is provided to and from any location within the South Pasadena City limits. We also provide transportation to some surrounding medical offices in Pasadena, San Marino, Arcadia, San Gabriel and Alhambra.

Applications may be submitted in person, via email, or mailed in. To submit applications via email please send to Melinda Tracey, Management Assistant at DAR@southpasadenaca.gov.
